FERRIS SERVICE AT ST. EDWARD CHURCH

  Margret A. Ferris was born January 22, 1912 to George F. and Anna Grigg Schoemaker in Merriman, Nebraska and died at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward on Saturday, August 15, 1992 at the age of 80 years.
  She was baptized on May 12, 1912 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Longswamp, Pennsylvania where she was raised by her grandmother.
  As a young lady, she became a member of Ludger's Catholic Church in Creighton. She received her education through the sixth grade while growing up in Pennsylvania. In her early years she traveled to various areas of the United States where she worked as a housekeeper.
  She married Robert Peter Ferris on December 2, 1933 at Neligh. Following a brilef marriage, she moved to Beatrice where she lived until 1967 when she entered Thompson's Convalescent Home in St. Edward. When Cloverlodge was completed in 1973, she moved in and has been a resident there since that time.
  She is survived by friends and staff of Cloverlodge Care Center.
  Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 1992 from the St. Edward Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Edward Gill officiating. Organist was Sister Agatha Marie and Lector was Isabel Mausbach. Servers were David Siedlyk, Timmy Siedlyk, and Brent Sindelar.
  Casket bearers were Art Torson, Rudy Prorok, Bill Prorok, Ray Brandl, Ray Klassen and Ed Zurovski. Interment was in O'Neill Cemetery, O'Neill, Nebraska.
