Charlotte Showmaker Hill Rites Held Here Saturday

  Charlotte Shoemaker Hill, a former resident of O'Neill, passed away in a nursing home at Schuyler, Nebraska on Wednesday, November 22nd. <1967>
  Charlotte Ann Grigg, daughter of John and Ellen Grigg was born July 29, 1889, at Gretna, Nebraska. She was married to George Showmaker at Valentine During the year of 1911. He died in 1925. She later married Thomas Hill at O'Neill on May 2, 1935. She had twochildren, a daughter Margaret and a son Thomas, who passed away in 1961 at Baltimore, Maryland.
  Rosary was said at Biglin's Chapel on Friday evening and a Requiem Mass was said by Rev. Fr. Rucker at St. Patrick's Church in O'Neill on Saturday with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
  Pallbearers were all veterans of World War I, Frank A. Murray, Freeman Arbo, Leon Farenholz, William Kraft and John J. Harrington, all of O'Neill and Ray Tucker of Ewing.
