Kenneth Brown services Wed.

  Funeral services for Kenneth Albert "Bud" Brown, 85, of Bridgeport, Neb. will be held Wenesday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church at Bridgeport with Rev. Darrel A. Rhodes officiating.
  Interment will be in Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery at Bridgeport. A memorial has been established to the church. Jolliffe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
  Brown was born June 26, 1906 at Cozad, Neb., the son of Daniel and Emma (Anders) Brown. He moved with his family to a homestead 13 miles north of Broadwater, Neb. in April of 1913. He attended Rocky Ridge School and graduated from Bridgeport High School. On May 6, 1935, he was married to iva Adelia Cook at Ogallala, Neb. 
  He farmed in the Bridgeport area and was also a self-employed water well driller. From 1970 to 1983 he was a tool repairman at Century Housing Corp. at Fort Morgan. He retired in 1983 and returned to Bridgeport.
  Brown was a member of the First Baptist Church and F.O.E. Aerie No. 2813, both at Bridgeport, and was a former member of the Oddfellows Lodge at Bayard.
  Survivors include his sons, Wayne Joseph of Valdosta, Ga. and Lenord Lee of Fort Morgan; two sisters, Irma Faye Bateman of Bridgeport and Ella Mae Sanburn of Newport, Wash; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Iva in 1940; one son, Daryll, Jan. 24; a brother, Cecil in January and a sister, Hazel.
